Card InfoThe April challenge at Christmas Craft Creations is always a fun one...
We are looking for your Christmas projects that use non-traditional colours... I chose to showcase some pink on my card!
Card InfoI'm participating in the Birthday Bounce Instagram Hop today... each month, a group of card makers gets together to hop with birthday cards based on a theme... this month our theme is "funny"
We've talked about this before... my idea of humour usually involves swearing... so I used a fun stamp set from Sassy Pants to create my card.
I had a vision in my head for this card... but I guess my vision wasn't quite as good once it hit reality.
I promise... we'll get to some cards I like soon!
Card InfoI am back with a second post today... with a card I am IN LOVE with! I made this card yesterday when two of my creative friends came over to play in my craft room for a few hours. I bought this die set on Saturday and decided to play with it yesterday... and it goes perfectly with the current challenge at Just Add Ink! I feel like the colours I chose lend themselves to something like a sympathy card... soft and muted.
Card InfoI have been struggling to make cards lately. I've been doing OK with the cards for the design teams I'm on, but I'm struggling with cards to make "just because". I struggle to find inspiration... I struggle with how to interpret that inspiration... I struggle because I truly love the clean and simple style but I'm not making super clean and simple cards... I struggle because things look better in my vision than they do in reality.
And this is one of those cards. I really love this rainbow paper and wanted to use some of it on a card... and while there's nothing wrong with this card (and I kind of like it), I don't love it. I don't feel like it's the worst card I've ever made... but it's certainly not the best either...
I guess they can't all be masterpieces LOL!
Card InfoI have another card to share for the {BYSHC} Spring Into Christmas Linky Party! I had a lot of fun playing with some different small and medium snowflake dies as well as that beautiful Lawn Fawn Iridescent cardstock.
Card InfoI'm playing along in an Instagram Hop today, showcasing three cards following our monthly theme (which is rainbows). For this hop, I have to have at least one common element in all of my cards, showing that our supplies can be versatile and used in more than one way.
I chose to make 3 mini slimline cards, all using the same patterned paper and the same sentiment set...
Card InfoIt's time for the Spring in to Christmas Linky Party with Build Your Stash Holiday Card Makers... and it's so easy for you to join in the fun!

My friend Bonnie gifted me a partial sheet of this beautiful paper and I wanted to use it for my first card for the party. It's just such a pretty paper!
Card InfoIt's time for a fun new sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge... I'm having a lot of fun mixing up some patterns for these challenges!
Mixing patterns is easier to do thanks to companies that sell their papers in pads or packs... you know that the colours to go together and often the patterns complement each other well. I hope I succeeded with this card!
Card InfoIt's time for a new colour challenge at AAA Colourful... we show you a colourboard and you take inspiration from it to create something beautiful...
I decided to go super clean and simple for my card... and chose to use some alcohol ink to create my splash of colour. I only wish that my Yupo paper was more of a true white...
Card InfoIt's a monochromatic challenge at Addicted to CAS and I decided to go super simple with just black and white. I just love this striped pattern paper... I need more of it!
Card InfoIt's time for a new challenge at CAS on Friday.... our theme for the next two weeks is "Spring". I decided that there's nothing that says spring more than some pastel coloured flowers.
Card InfoIt's time for a new challenge at Time Out Challenges... and it's an inspired by words challenge...
I don't have any stamps that are craft related... but I do have a couple of sentiments with the word craft in them... so that's what I went with.
Card InfoJust a quick post from me after a workout and before a trip to Costco (another type of workout lol). We joined a local rec centre about 6 weeks ago and have committed to working out 3-4 times per week. I did a class yesterday with a friend of mine that showed me just how out of shape I am.... and left me feeling muscles I forgot I had today. But I went back to did some weights in the weight room today. Stairs are NOT my friend today. LOL!
Anyway... Sharing a card I ade a few days ago... sure widh you could see those scored diagonal lines a little better....
Card InfoHappy Friday my friends... I am here with my first of two cards for the Build Your Stash Holiday Card Makers April sketch...
I need to tell you that I don't love my card. I love the idea of it, I love that it's clean and simple... but I feel rather "meh" about how my card turned out... It might be because I am not used to so much unpatterned dark space on a card front (most of my card fronts are white).
Card InfoWe have some wonderfully spring-inspiring colours for you to play with for the next two week at CAS Colours and Sketches. I can't wait to see what everyone does with this fun colour combo!
Soft Sea Foam and Flirty Flamingo are not colours I reach for regularly, but that's just a personal preference. In the right proportions in the right setting, they can be beautiful colours!
