*Inspire*

I decided to play with a colour combination I saw on a few blogs last week. Their cards looked so good so I thought what the heck... The colours used are Sage Shadow, Creamy Caramel and Bravo Burgundy.

I gotta tell you... I don't like Bravo Burgundy. I liked the old SU Burgundy colour... more a reddish burgundy. This one is more brown and I find it dull and drab. In this photo, however, it looks a lot nicer LOL!

I started with a burgundy card. I made layers 1/4" smaller of the caramel and sage. I stamped the sage with Sage Shadow ink with the Linen background stamp. I don't have the corner notch punch so I simply used a portion of a small circle punch to create the corners. The main part of the card is a piece of burgundy cardstock with daisy Peel Off style stickers that I got at the dollar store. Gotta love the dollar store. I put the card together and felt it still needed something so I punched a couple of cirlces and hand wrote the word "inspire" using my black SU marker.

I like the other cards I saw in this colour combination more than mine... I might have to play with it some more.
