*Simply Wonderful*

I decided last night while my FIL and oldest son were watching Nova and my husband and youngest son were at the Archery Centre for Cubs that I would hide in my basement and do some stamping. I actually went down just to watch TV, but while sitting at my table I decided to play just a little as well.

This scan makes the colours look a little more bright than they really are. The colours are Whisper White, Barely Banana and Rose Red. I stamped the big flower from Looks Like Spring in Whisper White craft ink on Rose Red cardstock and embossed it with Iridescent Ice. I then punched it with my Marvy Giga Circle Scallop punch. I punched little holes in each of the scallops and added a line of white gel pen around each scallop as well. I stamped Print Pattern in Barely Banana on Barely Banana. I put it all on to a white card and stamped "Wonderful" in Basic Black ink.

I've started making most of my cards by cutting my cardstock in half the long way. For a side opening card, it just sits up so much nicer. I used to do this just once in a while, but lately many of my cards have been cut this way.

Thanks for looking... enjoy your Friday!

  1. Very pretty! I like cutting my cardstock this way too. I find it holds up better...especially if you have loaded the front with layers and embelishments!
