*Funky Flower*

Just so you know, as I type this, it is -17*C outside (1*F).... with the windchill it feels more like -26*C (-15*F). Can you say "brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr". We had beautiful weather earlier in the week. Yesterday, late morning, the wind picked up.... then it tried to snow.... and the wind kept blowing.... and blowing.... and at midnight the wind woke me up it was howling so much.... and I got up and looked out my bedroom window to find that I couldn't see across the street because of the snow and blowing snow. When does spring start?

Spring stamping has already started.... thank God for that! At least there's something a little bright other than the snow outside LOL!

I made this card during my crafting day on Monday. I was inspired by a card I saw in a magazine my girlfriend brought over with her. I bought this daisy ribbon from Michael's several weeks ago... it was in the $1.50 bin. I used the ribbon as my inspiration for the colour combination. And let me tell you, this colour combination is really "out there" for me.

I stamped one of the images from Big Pieces randomly on a piece of Green Galore cardstock with Green Galore ink. It was too dark fresh from the ink pad so I stamped the image off once on scrap before stamping on my card.

I added a strip of Lovely Lilac cardstock to the left side of the card and then adhered the strip of ribbon on the seam between the two layers of cardstock. I used one of my big flower brads on the card... I layered it onto a circle of Almost Amethyst cardstock and then attached it to the card.

Funky and spring like... just what I need today!

Glad to see you came to visit again!
