*Holly Sparkle*

You know, some times, the hardest part of this blog is coming up with a good title for my posts. I like Fridays... they're all known as "Flashback Friday".

LOL

I have only one more Christmas card element on my desk and I hope to get that card made in the next week or so. And then I think I will be done with Christmas cards this year. It will be difficult, but I plan on getting back to some non-holiday stamping soon. I don't need any more Christmas cards. But I sure love making them! I still have a handful that are made that I will share with you over the next few days.

I created this card on the weekend when Allison, Shannon and Tracy came over to play. We did a lot of laughing, a little eating, and some crafting too!

I had the image of this card sitting on my desk waiting for inspiration for a card. I stamped the image and knew I wanted to use Purely Pomegranate and Wild Wasabi to colour it. I really don't like that Stampin' Up! doesn't sell markers to go with their In Color releases. But thankfully I have some of the blender pens and I was able to soak up some of my re-inkers and use my blender pen as a marker.

Items Used:
*Cardstock: Stampin' Up! Purely Pomegranate, Basic Black, Whisper White
*Ink: Black Palette; Stampin' Up! Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate, Whisper White, Versamarker
*Image: DeNami Design
*Embellishments: Stampin' Up! Purely Pomegranate stitched ribbon; Iridescent Ice embossing powder
*Tools: Cuttlebug and Snowflakes Embossing Folder

  4. Hi, Nancy. Re your comment about there not being SU markers for the in-colours. There was an entry in someone's blog (can't remember whose) that gave a list of Tombow markers that match the SU in-colours. I was able to find the ones that go with Wild Wasabi and Purely Pomegranate and they are perfect. If you don't have that list let me know and I'll send it to you.
