*It Was Too Much*

So, in preparation for a warm vacation, I went to the tanning salon today... I'd much rather spend a little time there than be burnt the first day or two of a wonderful vacation.

It's been a while since I've been....  the lady suggested 8 minutes and I went for it.

And now there are a few "sensitive" areas that are a little tender...  you knows, those areas that don't see a lot of sun....

Like under my "girls"...

A certain piece of clothing is not sitting well at the moment

TMI???

LOL!

Because I shared too much personal information (LOL), I'll share a card with you now...
Items Used:
*Cardstock:  Stampin' Up! Bashful Blue, Basic Black;  Classic Crest white
*Patterned Paper:  Imaginisce
*Images:  Imaginisce
*Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black; Stampin' Up! markers
*Tools:  Big Shot; Polka Dots Crafts Too embossing folder; Stampin' Up! square punches; Nestabilities
*Embellishments:  Stampin' Up! Riding Hood Red ribbon
*Challenges:  Mojo154

I used the square punches to create the photo corner ...  took a few tries but I think it turned out OK!

  1. The first time I went to Vegas, I got sunburned right through the bathing suit! Talk about sore "girls"!

  2. Many years ago I decided I didn['t want to be the ghost anymore and bought a tanning light. I laid on the bed, 5 minutes each side, thinking nothing of it. Until I had to pee. Guess where I got burned? Being white isn't so bad afterall.

  3. I think your card is darling! And I sympathize with you about the tanning incident. I had a very similar experience with a tanning room at the gym.

Pop on over to my blog. I have a surprise for you there. Here's the link to the post: http://catscrapfever.blogspot.com/2010/12/i-was-awarded-and-award.html

  5. Very sweet card, that embossing folder works well, it looks like falling snow in the background. As for the tanning studio, I have had that happen a few times. I have learned the hard way to always go in for less time than they suggest at the beginning LOL!
