*Striped Scrap*

My girlfriend Kelly was over on Monday afternoon to play with me. We used to play several times a week, but then she went off and got a job, then I got a job (couple hours a day) and well... time just passes and we don't get together. But Monday the kids had a PD Day, I had the day off and it all happened on Kelly's day off! So, she brought the kids to play with Matthew (her younger son is Matthew's best friend) and she and I played from about 10 am until about 4pm!! Gotta love days like that!!

And... to top it all off, I was able to make a whack of cards to share with you!

I had just a small piece of this gorgeous striped paper sitting in my craft space the other day. I just love this paper. I don't know what it is for sure... I do like stripes and I like the colours too. I started out with an Almost Amethyst card. I stamped one of the stamps from Big Pieces in Amethyst ink on the card. I cut a piece of the fancy paper and layered it on. I then stamped one of the Big Pieces images on to Whisper White cardstock. I used an Almost Amethyst and a Certainly Celery marker to colour the stamp. I then cut it out with my 1 1/4" circle punch, and layered it onto a 1 3/8" circle punched out of So Saffron. I added the So Saffron rectangle with the greeting stamped in Basic Black, and chopped the corners off with my small corner rounder.

Now, I guess I need to decide if I should buymore of this paper or move on....
