I've seen this style of card on several blogs lately and decided I would go print off Beate's tutorial and give it a shot. Much like my friend Tracy, I wasn't sure how difficult it might be so I was more doing a trial run before using stuff I really love. But, much like Tracy, I love the card I came up with!
This card is super easy with such amazing results. I did discover that I made a little mistake.... i attached my ribbon to the back of the card with double sided tape and also stuck it down under the bottom left corner of my focal image, which then does not allow the card to open up fully. But it's still OK.
It's hard to see, but the inside of the card is stamped with the flourish from Doodle This and then with the sentiment Thinking of You in Almost Amethyst Ink.
I'll be playing with this card design some more I think as it went together a lot more easily than I thought it would. Thanks so much, Beate, for posting the tutorial for the rest of us!
