What do you think of the labels at the ends of my posts? Are they helpful? Are they annoying? Do you care one way or the other?
Let me know what you think.... to encourage you to give me your opinion, I'm giving away a stack of patterned papers cut into 6X6 squares... I'll draw two names on Sunday from those who provide their opinions on the labels!
EDIT: By the way, the labels I am referring to are the links below each post .... you click on the underlined word in the label and it takes you to all the posts on my blog that I've applied that label to (for example, if you clicked on Prima Flowers in my last card post.
EDIT: The blog candy is no longer available! Thanks for checking in!
I personally like the labels. I use them on my blog too. I think it helps find something that you saw and want to remember later on when you're looking for it.
ReplyDeleteIf I had a blog I would probably use the labels too. They are a helpful tool.
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
Nancy Grant
I like the labels too--actually I didn't know the purpose until I went back and clicked on one and see if brought up every post with that label. Very neat--I like it!!!!
ReplyDeleteCheryl
I like it when people use the labels feature, but I don't particularly care if I can see the labels at the bottom of each post. I like to be able to see a list of labels/topics in the side bar so I can click on "stamping" and see all the stamping related posts.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you do them at the end. I know they are some work (it's hard to think of all the little things), but especially on the last post - I wanted to know who made the baby bum stamp. So cute. I appreciate them...if that means anything. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the label idea. Please don't get rid of it!!
ReplyDeleteI've never actually used the labels. But it looks like they are helpful.
ReplyDeletelike the labels...don't lose them :)

ReplyDeleteI like the labels - it helps if I am looking for a specific thing rather than having to search through all of the posts.
ReplyDeleteI love the labels. I use them to find examples of how many different ways to use a punch, for instance, before I buy it. Very helpful. Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteI like the labels and now that I know what they are there for I will use them on my own blog (I didn't know that's what they did)
ReplyDeleteTruth be told Nancy, I hadn't noticed them! So that is what that block is for when I'm writing my post???? *eye roll*
ReplyDeleteNow that I'm educated, I'd say that they are a great tool for others to find things on your blog. :)
I like the labels. I don't use them often, but I do really like the logic of them. Please keep them!
ReplyDeleteI musi say I like the labels.I never knew what they did,but now that I do it sure makes it easy to look up some ideas for a specific thing.Great ideas,I say keep them!!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't noticed the labels. They don't bother me one way or the other.
ReplyDeleteI guess I'd have to admit that I like the labels too. It certainly does make things easier to find if you are in a hurry or looking for something specific. Definately a helpful tool.
ReplyDeleteI use the labels! So I like them. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteCheryl KVD
I think they are useful to your readers. I refer to them mainly for the names of the stamps used. I rarely look at the less significant items like what brand paper, ink, etc. was used.
ReplyDeleteLinda SS
I love the label idea and I think it is very cool, but I have to be honest and say I never have clicked on one yet.
ReplyDeleteYou know...I had no idea that those were even there!! Yes, they are very helpful. Although, it looks like a lot of work ;0)
ReplyDeleteThe labels are just fine.....I use them......

The labels are nice to see how you categorize things but I typically look right past them.

ReplyDeleteTina
I personally really like the labels. Don't get rid of them!
ReplyDeleteTracy H.
I've never used the lables...but now that you mention it, I think I might use it. So I'm torn...sorry that doesn't help much.
ReplyDeleteVery clever - I like clicking on the label & bringing up every post using that word. I think I'll be using this a lot - wish everyone had it.
ReplyDeleteWell, I finally know what all of those words stand for, as I had no clue. You are never too old to learn!!! Keep them, now I can use them!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the labels, but I use the search feature more often. I do like how your labels are so specific - it makes it easy to look for inspiration when I'm trying to use a particular thing.
ReplyDeleteI cant even find what youre talking about so I would have to say I dont care for them or they are unnoticeable. I looked for anything that said Prima Flowers I dont see it but I bet right after I post I'll see it and go oh I love those.
ReplyDeleteI don't pay any attention to labels on blogs. I never do them on mine either.
ReplyDeleteI like the labels...think I need to add them to my blog!!
ReplyDeleteAnd hey, Sunday is my bday, so Pick Me!! ;-)
Have a wonderful weekend,
Jana
Hmm..I don't use them that often, but I do like them. I like being able to go back and see other posts you have made about that same thing.
ReplyDeleteI think the labels are helpful also.
ReplyDeleteIlene B.
Hi Nancy, I never use the links. I seem to check back so often, that I dont need to do that. I keep a book of the great ideas, so I dont have to hunt them up later.
ReplyDeleteDenise Bennett
I like the labels. I can use them for referenc. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThe labels are a nice idea - if your card has a cool way of doing something, like using the new giga scallop oval punch, it's nice to click on the punch and you can see other posts with cards using it. I also like how you have links in your text to other blogs that inspired you. It's alway awesome to find another blog to read.
ReplyDeleteI think they are helpful. They make it easier to find posts.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Janet B
You know what? They don't bother me at all. If it helps you keep your posts organized then do it. But, if it is more of a hassle then just cut it out. Not much help...am I?
ReplyDeleteLove the labels but man that's gotta be a lot of work. Will support whatever you decide!!
ReplyDeleteI personally like the labels also as they are helpful. Love your blog and wish your son a very happy BD
ReplyDeleteI think you should keep them. They aren't in the way, and they could be helpful!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize what those were for until you mentioned it, it is helpful. I will have to utilize them more.
ReplyDeleteI really like the labels as it helps to see where these items were used and how they were used. Also will tell me who makes the supplies . Real kewl Nancy . Hugs Gerrie West
ReplyDeleteI like the labels.

I use the labels, I like the labels, but I'm not sure I care one way or the other because I read all the entries anyway. I guess though that they are useful for finding things if you want to search for a specific technique or tutorial that you saw.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the labels because I can see something else that may pertain to the subject just addressed.
ReplyDeleteLabels are very handy to find more info about a particular subject... Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love labels on blogs that I've just discovered. They help me find crafty topics of interest without having to spend hours and hours combing through.
ReplyDeleteI like the labels. They make it easier to find out more info about something. They're a helpful tool and time saver.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteI don't use them much, but I'm sure they would be good for someone who might be looking for a specific post they saw. I could be that person one day! hehehe
Keep em!
thanks!
bobbie
You know I don't think I am seeing anything at the end of your posts. I am sorry but there is nothing there.
ReplyDeleteAngie W
Nancy, I like the labels. They are very useful when you are trying to find something or want to find out more about something. Your blog is great. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm not commenting to "get something"...I just wanted to tell you that I added labels and now I LOVE them! I rearranged all my labels and added the labels list in the column to help me find my own stuff easier. For instance, all my cards made with Penny Black stamps are labelled Penny Black, and Whipper Snapper etc. And then all my SU ones are labeled by the name of the set, and all my RAK's are labeled RAK. This helps tremendously and I wouldn't go back for anything. But, I can see that you must have removed your labels...everyone's different. If that's not important to you, then don't use them. People organize in different ways. Good luck figuring out what works for you!! (maybe you already have!) :o)
ReplyDeleteYes I find them super helpful! Especially when I remeber a card but the next time I try to find it I just can't!!! So much easier when you can pick some probable labels!!
ReplyDeleteAlso you have a lovely blog!!! Love to see all the great cards!!!
YM
Personally, I LOVE labels. It makes it so easy to find similar items on a blog. Thanks for using them!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work. The labels are helpful.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good life!

Nancy - I think they are great - I am pretty new to the stamping world and when I see something in a specific card, it is nice to be albe to check out some more that use the same technique.
