Happy Mothers Day to my Mom and to all the Moms who are reading my blog. I love that there is one day a year set aside to let your Mom know just how special she is to you. I think we should all say it more often, but at least there is one day a year that reminds us just how special Moms are.
This was my first attempt at a Tracy Durcan one layer card. I am totally in love with Tracy's designs. And am so pleased with how this card turned out. Making a one layer card is a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. It was also very difficult to walk away from this card without adding more to it. Adding something. As it was, I had already gone back to add the Swarovski bling to the centres of the flowers. I couldn't leave it totally plain.
The card is 5.5" square when folded.
Mom will get this card at brunch this morning... I sure hope she likes it!

ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day, have a great day!!
Great card. I know it's hard to do a one layer card - I always have trouble with it because in my head I'm always thinking "it needs one more thing"......LOL!
ReplyDeleteGreat card. One layer cards are hard - I find I don't do them anymore.
