I am very very pleased to report that I have made a total of 60 Christmas cards.... I might be done, although I might also make another 10 just in case. I like to have extras on hand. I have made a lot of different designs this year and I chose 6 that I really liked and made 10 of each of them. I spent yesterday afternoon finishing them off.
The best part of doing it this way is that I was able to spend more time on the cards. Instead of 60 simple design cards, I made a few designs that were simple and a few that required more work (lots of colouring).
I might make another 10 of a new design to send to those people who read my Blog so that they don't get something they've already seen.
The card today is a little "different" for me... not really my Christmas style this year. More traditional and grown-up than the others I have made.
I saw this set in The Angel Company catalogue and I had to have it. The swirls were so beautiful and the images all so elegant. Not sure what else I will do with the set yet.... will have to do some more playing.
Items Used:
*Images: The Angel Company Holiday Magic
*Cardstock: Stampin' Up! Ruby Red, Basic Black, Whisper White
*Patterned Paper: Basic Grey Fruitcake
*Ink: Document Black Ink; Stampin' Write Markers in Garden Green
*Embellishments: Sakura Quickie Glue Pen with red Ultra Fine glitter; Prima flowers; silver brads
So, now the question... when do I stop making Christmas Cards? As I've said before, Christmas is my favourite "reason" to make cards. I think I still have a few Christmas ideas left in me... not to mention a bunch of stamps that have never seen ink, patterned papers that have never been cut, and embellishments that are begging to be used!
This card is lovely, that paper is wonderful, wow 60 cards, I am impressed.

ReplyDeleteI have never made 60 cards for a holiday ever!! You are amazing!
I think you can make whatever you want to, whenever you want to, and if you are tired of x-mas cards, then go ahead and make something else, but remember, you can always make extra cards for next year, or donate them to someone in need of a few cards!
You are done!!?? I am so jealous! I need to get my butt in gear!!
