I'm so sorry for the small hiatus from my blog. I realized I didn't even post something for Flashback Friday! Matthew was off school from Thursday at noon because of Parent Teacher Interviews. I spent from Thursday until yesterday afternoon running around like a chicken with my head cut off.... parties, shopping, a craft fair to go to, decorating the tree and house, meeting with a teacher.
I topped the weekend off with a brand new cold that started making itself known on Saturday evening while we were at our friends' annual Christmas Party.
It is a cold one today.... currently -18C (0F).... feels like -27C (-17F) with the wind. Brrrrrr! They're telling us that this will be the coldest winter in most parts of Canada in the last 10 or so years. Lovely.
I started this card several weeks ago... I wanted to do this two triangle idea that I saw on Jen's Blog. I also knew I wanted to use this paper. I got the triangles on and nothing else worked!
I put it aside and came back to it several days later. It really took a while for me to make this card sing to me... but finally it worked!
