*Still Cold and Wet*

Yup, still nasty here in Calgary... but the end is in sight. The rain should end today and the temperatures should be closer to average on the weekend. You can bet I'll be outside again on the weekend... maybe not floating down the Bow River, but in the back yard with a good book.

Unfortunately, Bruce and I flaked on finishing the basement yesterday. There isn't really a lot left to sort through... just a few boxes. And then it's organizing what is left. And then a big trip to the dump. We have filled 3 of the big roll-away curbside recycling bins! It's convenient that two families are out of town this week and we've had access to their empty recycling bins. We have to take one back to it's owners house tonight and put all three out for pick up tomorrow. I'll be glad when it's all done... wish there was a basement clean up fairy! LOL!

Despite the crappy weather and not working on the basement, I have not crafted at all this week... my plan is to get busy on the MojoMonday sketch once my blog post is done.

So... let's talk about the card so I can get busy, eh?!

This is another of the cards I created at the Summer Scraptacular put on by MondayNightClass.ca back in June. And I sent it to Allison for her birthday in July.

  1. What a fun card, Nancy!!! Girl, I'll send you some sun and higher temperatures, we've had temps around 105 degrees Fahrenheit for what seems forever and only a few drops of rain ever so often. Let me see if I can catch some and send it your way ,LOL :D:D:D:D!!!! Hugs, Sabrina

  4. Adorable card. Love the movement of the slightly wavy line of flowers...subtle but definitely makes the card!
