*I Don't Like It*

And I don't expect you to either....

I truly do not like this card.  It looked so much better in my head.  But on paper, it's not anything wonderful.

But in the spirit of full disclosure, I figured I should share the good, the bad and the ugly.

And today I am sharing the ugly!
Items Used:
*Cardstock:  PaperTrey Ink White; Stampin' Up! Pink Pirouette, Pacific Point
*Images:  Gel-A-Tins Oodles of Doodles; Amuse
*Ink:  Stampin' Up! Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss
*Tools:  Corner Chomper


I used one of the ideas in the Go To Sketches magazine I picked up at Michaels a month or so ago....  and am so not pleased with this card....

Oh well... we all gotta try something a little different once in a while...

Enjoy your Wednesday... it's raining cats and dogs here in Calgary so now that I have my errands done I think I will craft until it's time to take Matthew to drums.

    I LIKE it!!! I love the CAS look of it with all those lovely white space. arg, you poor thing...hope the rain stops for you soon.

    I love it! I like the simplicity of your card. I know how you feel. Sometimes I create a card and don't like it but everyone else does. I think we tend to be hard on ourselves.

    Sorry Nancy but I have to agree with xiumaiyuki and debsg, it is NOT ugly and I like it.
    Lucky you having done your errands, I am just having to go out in this "liquid sunshine". lol

    It's pretty, but not one of my favs of yours! LOL

    However, I was thinking... if you perhaps added a little bow to where the stems intersect, and perhaps a little bling to the centres of the flowers, you might like it more! :)

    I think it looks just fine. Maybe not your usual, Nancy card...but like you said it is good to try new things. Maybe it's the color combo? Maybe try it again with another combo? :0)

    I think it has great bones :) What about adding a button and a brad for the flower centers? And I love the colors too, tfs.

    It's not your usual wonderfulness, but it's not all that bad! Maybe if all 4 corners were rounded and you added a little ribbon? Funny how things look better on our heads than they do on paper sometimes. I have that happen a lot but am not brave enough to share it.

    it's not bad! what about stamping the head of the flower, cutting it out and putting it back on using pop dots?

    I like it, it is a nice CAS card and I like the color combination. Don't put it on Misfit Island, it really is a pretty card.
