OK.... I have to admit.... I love the time change in the spring. I grew up in a part of Canada that does not observe the time change so it's always been a big deal to remember to change our clocks twice a year (we only forgot once... the Spring of 1997, when Matthew was only weeks old. We knew it was coming, but we forgot to change the clocks until dinner time on the Sunday!). But in that part of Canada, the sun comes up so freakin' early in the summertime that the birds are lucky the we sleep lovers don't have a way to end their lives!
I love that during the spring and summer, the sun is up so late in the evening.
I love that right now we are enjoying it lighter past dinner time.
But I hate that we've gone back to 7am being dark. It's so much easier to get out of bed when the sun gets up before you do!
I played just a little bit this weekend.... I had planned on doing a lot more but I totally felt lazy. Creating just sounded like a lot of work LOL

The challenge this time at UseItTuesday was a sketch.... I had a tough time with it.... I don't think it was the sketch, more the amount of Mojo I had flowing at the time. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, though
I am still figuring out how to turn the car clock ahead!! I might have to leave it until the fall....lolReplyDelete
Love your card! So sweet!
Nice job -- your mojo was certainly there!ReplyDelete
WOW! And without mojo?!! You did such a great job! Love the buttons and patterned paper, but your edge border design had me in awe!! What a great design!!ReplyDelete
Thanks so much for playing with us at Use it Tuesday!! :)
Gorgeous card! I love the colours and that fabulous border! I think your mojo is in fine form. :)ReplyDelete
Thank you for your kind words on my blog and for adding me to your list! It's great to be able to find and follow some fellow Canadians & Calgarians.
Also glad to hear little Milo is OK. :)
p.s. It took me until late sunday to figure out that this was time change weekend!
