*Faux Black Stainless Steel*

My friend Bonnie gifted me with some great Stampin' Up! patterned paper and told me about this wonderful technique where you can cover the paper with ink and then wipe off the excess.  I decided to try it with a black Memento ink pad and this is the result. The silver and gold on the paper resists the ink and the background went from bright white to this great gunmetal colour.

I cut it down and layered it on to a piece of silver paper and then on to a black card.  I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock and embossed it in silver, layered it on some silver paper and added it to the front of the card
