*Christmas Cards 2014 #13*

Interestingly enough, my most favourite Christmas card that I created in 2014 was the last one I did.  I did as many of these as I could with what I had left of the sparkle paper from Michaels.  My sister was able to buy me two more packs of this paper at 60% off as I couldn't find it at my local Michaels so I'll be creating with it again next year!

I hope you all have a wonderful and magical Christmas, spent with family and friends!

I love these two cards....  so easy, simple, and beautiful!  This die is by Creative Expressions and I LOVE it!

*Christmas Cards 2014 #11*

I love the simplicity of this card.... shimmer patterned paper, some silver embossing, a little ribbon and Stickles.  So pretty.

Another card using patterned paper and a chipboard piece from the dollar store.  The piece originally said "Happy Holilday" so I used a black marker and added the "s" ....

*Christmas Cards 2014 #10*

This first one, while simple, took some time trying to get the stamp and the die lined up just right.....  it will take some time and practice...

I love this shimmer paper!!!  So pretty!

*Christmas Cards 2014 #3*

I'm not over the moon about either of these....  I like the second one better.  It was simply ribbon and a chipboard piece I got from the dollar store last year.  The ornament is a negative of a die I did and then used Washi tape behind it.

*Christmas Cards 2014 #1*

I thought I would share the cards I made for Christmas 2014... I had a great time creating and may find myself in my craft room a little more in the new year... I think I made 3 cards other than Christmas cards in 2014.  Sad, eh?

So I will share a few Christmas cards each day until Christmas....  I hope you enjoy!

*Fall To Layout #245*

This is my creation based on the sketch over at the Clean and Simple Stamping blog this week...  I saw the sketch and just *knew* that I had to use my Washi Tape for this card....
And of course, there are some go-to (for me) items on this card... some bling, some Michael's Bridal flowers and my Perfect Layers Tools.

*Sympathy Card*

This was the first card I made in 2013... a long time member of an online stamping group I own (well, used to own) passed away and I wanted to send her family a card....  I don't tend to have sympathy cards on hand, so I had to create.

Sadly, creating a sympathy card did not encourage me to create more....  although I do love how this card turned out...
I stamped the floral image in Kiwi Kiss ink, coloured the tips with Copics and then added Glossy Accents on top of the parts I coloured.  Of course I used my Perfect Layers tools for the 1/16" reveal of the Kiwi Kiss cardstock.

*Don't Fall Over!*

I know... it's been a LONG time.... thanks for being so patient!

I think my lack of creating has been a combination of lack of mojo, using my time differently, lack of desire to sit in the basement, lack of desire to create....

But I challenged myself yesterday and I made a card.... and I made another one this morning.  I've been fortunate that Natasha over at the Clean and Simple Stamping blog is quite relaxed about the design team...  I'm still part of the team despite not participating in months.

So for today, a card for the current sketch over at the Clean and Simple Stamping blog (the link is on the left side)....
I've already created the card for the next challenge... so pop back to see it next week!

*Happy New Year*

Do you remember when we were all concerned about what Y2K would bring us?  Would the world computers shut down?  Would we lose power?  Was it just another New Years Eve?

Can you believe that was THIRTEEN years ago!  WOW how time flies!

As I have done for the last few years, I am back with a post of some of my favourite cards from this year...  a card a month that I posted on my blog.

*Joy*

And this is the last of the Christmas cards I created in 2012....  I took some patterned paper with the chevron design on it and cut it out along the lines of the chevron.  I used some glittered Thickers for the J and Y and added a punched snowflake (shimmer cardstock) for the O.  I outlined the letters in black marker to help make them pop out.
I will be back in the new year with some more cards and creations.... when I find some time to play again.... and find my non-Christmas mojo!
