*Donuts and Bugs!*

Some days I have a really tough time naming my blog posts LOL! I guess today was one of them! But, there's a reason for it.... my card is a "donut card" and I used my Cuttlebug. Sneaky, eh? tee hee

I started with white cardstock which I cut in half the long way. I prefer cards cut this way for some reason. I used the D'vine Swirls embossing folder for my Cuttlebug on just the front half of the card. I added a 2" strip of Pool Party (SU!) designer paper to the one side. I used my 1 3/8" circle punch to punch a hole in the front of my card. I used the same punch to punch a circle of the Pool Party Paper. I stamped the image with Brocade Blue ink on Whisper White cardstock and punched out the middle circle with the small circle punch and the entire design with the 1 1/4" circlepunch. I coloured the centre image (the present) with my Sakura Stardust Gel Pen for some sparkle. I attached the main part of the image to the Pool Party circle with glue and then added the present on a glue dot and adhered these circles to the inside of the card. I used a piece of Brocade Blue grosgrain ribbon along the fold of the card to finish it off.

This was one of those cards that I had a vision in my head of kind of what I wanted to do and it took me literally 15 minutes to have it done. I like cards like that.

And do you see my great watermark on the left side of the card? Thanks to Cindy for that!!
