*Dots and Doodles*

My Mom finally got to use her Christmas Gift from my sister and I yesterday. We gave her plane tickets for a trip to Mesa Arizona to visit her brother and his wife for 10 days. They've been after Mom to go down for a visit for a few years now. Since Dad passed, Mom was thinking more and more about heading down to see them and enjoy some warm weather in the middle of a Saskatchewan Winter. She left yesterday morning and will be back next Thursday. I hope she has a wonderful time!

Last week my mail brought me a package full of goodies. Cindy and Jill went shopping on the 14th and found some great sales at some of their local stamp and scrapbook stores. I told them they could spend $25 on my behalf and surprise me. The card I am posting today uses some of the things they bought for me.

I LOVE these glittered flowers! They came in a package with some of the polka dot flowers and some plain flowers. I paired up two of the flowers and attached them together with the square bling brad. I stamped the flourish from Doodle This with white craft ink on a square of Real Red cardstock. Once it was dry, I added some Swarovski Crystals to the centres of the flowers for some added bling. I attached it all to a 4 1/4" square card.

I personally love this card.
