*Adobe Photoshop Questions*

Hi All... I am seriously contemplating purchasing Photoshop.... but I have questions.... can those of you who own it and have experience with it, please help me out???

*Which would you get... Photoshop 5.0, 6.0? Elements or just PhotoShop?
*How hard is it to teach myself how to use it?
*What all do you do with it?

I would love to try my hand at using some digi-scrapping stuff to create myself a blog banner... can I do that with Photoshop???

Thanks in Advance!

I have photoshop 9.0 I believe version 11.0 is now out as well.

I did your little photo editing with it. Cutting poor hubby's arm off and plating trees there,,

I took a little course for it...
It has some very neat features..

I erase, add mangle and edit photo's mostly with it..

I have used it for designing websites,Graphics, business cards, stationary, special script,
font editing...The list goes on and on..

I am sure you can find a more reasonably priced program for what you want to do.

Seems to me that they have a free 30 day trial set on the web.. CS2 version..

You can do almost anything with photoshop..

get Photoshpo elements and forgo the Photoshop full program. It has quite a learnign curve and my kids use less than a tenth of it-elements has the best of the good stuff and only if you are a professional would you want the full program at 650 when elements is about 50 after rebate.

I have both 9.0 and Elements ( a gift) and go back to elements over and over again. Photo shop is also a huge program...with a even steeper learning curve..or maybe it is just me...
