Good afternoon all... the final Friday before school starts... if only the weather would have cooperated to make it a weekend you'd want to be outside. Instead it will be cool and wet.
Yesterday morning I popped into work and talked myself into buying the Clip It Up Ribbon Holder. I've been hemming and hawing about it for more than a week now and decided what the hell...
My darling wonderful and sweet husband put it up for me this morning and I immediately went to work filling it up. I will need to purchase another bag of clips as I have a few more ribbons I need to hang up.
Isn't it pretty????????
Now, for the fun.... while I was going through my overstuffed vase of ribbon bits, I found a bunch of ribbon that was the same as others I'd already put on clips as well as a few that are no longer my taste. So I am going to share it with you....
If you'd like to enter to win this pile o' ribbon, please leave a comment on this post telling me your most favourite embellishment. I will also be throwing in a few surprise goodies with the ribbon, so you take your chances as to what you might miss out on if you don't enter the draw!
This blog candy contest will close on Tuesday afternoon, September 2nd.
Look at all that yummy ribbon! That Clip It Up ribbon holder looks cool! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new toy!! Well new addition :)
ReplyDeleteThat ribbon holder is great! I don't think I can choose a favorite embellishment. It's too hard! I do know that I hoard them too often though! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteGreat ribbon holder. My favorite embellishment is probably ribbon (imagine that!) with brads being a close second. I use at least one of those two embellishments on almost every card...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
What agreat work area you have,i'm stuck with the dining table LOL.I have dibs on my 16 year olds room when he gets independant haha.I'm new to papercrafting so i guess digital paper is my current most used embellishment as i don't have much else yet.I spent this years craft allowance on a cuttlebug and dies so i have to wait to buy anything else:)
ReplyDeleteLike I need any more ribbon as I am the ribbon queen? Okay, gotta ask-how much is the ribbon thingie and how wide is it? I wonder if it would fit on the back of my door. I de-spool all my ribbon and winde them on plastic index cards by style. would be nice to see some all pretty like that.
ReplyDeleteoddly, my fav embellishment isn't ribbon. Its Stickles! and there are 6 new colors coming too.
RIbbon is fast becoming one of my favorite embellishments I just have a hard time deciding how to use it. Have to say that brads are my absolute favorite (at the moment anyway - lol).
ReplyDeleteLooks great, Nancy! Sadly, my cat would have a fest with all that ribbon! I would have to say that lately my favorite embelishment would have to be dewdrops. :0)
ReplyDeleteI too LOVE ribbon with dew drops being a close second!!!! I would love to have you share some of your ribbon with me!
ReplyDeleteyour ribbon holder is great. my most favorite embellishment is glitter and baubles (or the like).

Wow this Clip It Up Ribbon holder looks like it was meant to be there. Love the pile o'ribbon. My favorite embellishment...ummm...I just love all kinds, but I would have to say that I try to add ribbon to everything I make. Thanks for a chance.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous ribbon! I think that my favorite embellishment is glitter/glimmer stuff. Whether it's glitter glue, glimmer mist, shimmerz paints, pearl ex. Anything that makes it shine!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to enter but I have my own pile of ribbons that need a new home. Perhaps we should trade.
ReplyDeleteRecently, my favorite embellishment has become ribbon - now that I have learned to tie a decent bow!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Ribbon! Can't have enough of that can we?! LOL! I have a hard time parting with embellishments but the ones I do use the most are my dew drops! I love those little things! They're great for everything from adding "oomph", to flower centers, I used them to look like pony tail holders in a scrapbook page, corner markers.... the list goes on! So yeah, I have to say dew drops! Thank you for the chance and I can't wait to see your other creations! Thanks for always sharing too!
ReplyDeleteI just admit I am a ribbon-aholic! I love, love my ribbon--any form, color or size. Your new clip system looks fantastic. It is so much easier to use it when you see it!

ReplyDeleteNancy, my favorites have to be stamping and embossing my images and cutting them out for a 3-d effect, with ribbon or lace and a huge flower.

I probably like flowers the most! But since I started cardmaking, next to scrapbooking I also use a lot of other embellishments: ribbon, brads, etc. Greetings from Belgium, Annelies
ReplyDeleteYour craft area looks like you are ready to create! Your ribbon holder will be helpful in letting you see what you have.

I don't use a lot of embellishments, but when I do it's eyelets and ribbons. My ribbons are in glass jars at the moment, but the clip it up organizer looks handy!
