Yesterday was not a good day.
Well, that's not completely true... I got to spend some time with my BFF which was awesome.
But the fall I took in the Costco parking lot at the beginning of our time together put a bit of a damper on my day. I managed to take a step and caught a rock under my heel and I went down.... thankfully I didn't fight it so my entire body isn't hurting today. Unfortunately I did manage to use my right elbow to cushion my fall so I am experiencing a little numbness and pain today.
I had booked a massage for this morning a month ago, which was excellent foresight since I really needed it after the tumble. The arm is a bit useless at the moment, but I can use it... it just hurts. I will survive
I did manage to craft with a sore arm last night!
I saw the MojoMonday sketch for this week and knew almost exactly what I wanted to do immediately. I dug around my Christmas bin for some patterned paper and off I went.
The element I knew I had to use as a snowflake. It just had to be.
Items Used:
*Cardstock: Stampin' Up! Whisper White; Coredinations
*Patterned Paper: I have no idea!!!
*Images: PSX
*Ink: Ocean Depth VersaMagic
*Tools: Big Shot; Snowflakes Cuttlebug Embossing Folder; Nestabilities; Marvy snowflake punch
*Embellishments: Snowflake brad; bling
I'm sorry that I have no information on the manufacturer of the patterned paper. I bought it at the Scrapbook Pantry last year to make my Christmas cards and this is simply one of the scraps I had left over. I didn't post the exact card I made with this paper last year (I posted another, the same layout, but different colour combination) so I have no way to easily figure out who made the paper. It's a beautiful paper though, with lots of shimmer. I'd love to have more of it in my stash!
I'm off... need to find the icepack for my shoulder and elbow. Woo hoo?
Sigh.
Ouch!! Hope you're feeling better.
