I don't know what I do it, but I do laundry on Sunday. We grew up doing laundry on Sundays and I guess I've just carried on that tradition. When the kids were younger, I did laundry whenever there was enough to be done, but now that it's pretty steady, I know I can do it once a week. And the new front loading washer and dryer can hold a lot more than our old set so I can do bigger loads less often.
Unfortunately it translates into Sunday not being a totally relaxing day.
I am enjoying a little time to myself right now... Bruce took the boys and they headed off to the local community centre/gym. Bruce is working out, Matthew and a friend are swimming, and Alex is going to the library. It's not often in the last month that I have had the house to myself.
I love my family dearly, but I do enjoy some quiet time in the house without them.
We are gearing up to watch the Western Final of the CFL this afternoon... the Calgary Stampeders are playing the Saskatchewan Roughriders to see who will be playing football in the Grey Cup next weekend. While I live in Calgary, I will be cheering for the Riders.... once a Rider fan, always a Rider fan!
I created this card on Thursday morning after seeing Julee use this colour combination on a card on her blog. I like her card a lot more than mine, but I still love the colour combination! I created this card using the sketch from the current MojoMonday challenge.
