The weather here in Calgary has been absolutely beautiful the last few days... and it's only getting better! I think I may have to pull out the flip flops for Monday and Tuesday!
Tomorrow will either feel warmer or colder than it really is as I'll be outside working a bottle drive from 9:30am until mid to late afternoon. At least it will be sunny and not below freezing. And hey, it's an excuse to have a hotdog for lunch LOL!
I'm sharing with you today, one of the cards I made Wednesday night while the guys were at TaeKwon Do. I really enjoy an empty house when I'm crafting. Not sure why.
Items Used:
*Cardstock: Stampin' Up! Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery; Staples white
*Patterned Paper: Creative Imaginations
*Tools: Big Shot; Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder
*Embellishments: Prima Flowers; Stampin' Up! grosgrain ribbon; Doodlebug glittered brad
*Challenges: Mojo129
I like how the card came together... I started with the sketch, decided on what patterned paper to use and then the card came together pretty easily. Nice and spring-like! Perfect for the weather we've been having!
Hi Nancy! Thanks for adding me to your blog list :-) You have a fabulous blog!
ReplyDeleteThis card is very springlike, love the flower and the soft colours.
I'm the same, I really enjoy crafting as well when the family is out. :-)
Beautiful card Nancy - I love how you've used that huge flower as the central image for the sketch. I have such a hard time with that flower!!!!
ReplyDeleteI was on Debbie's blog (above me) and noticed your mentioning of your Canadian Bloggers list - I'd love to be added if you'll have me! I'm in Fort Saskatchewan outside of Edmonton.
It's overcast here today - the clouds don't look friendly.
Have a great day!
This looks great, Nancy! HOpe you had a good bottle drive...although that wind was nasty today!! But it suppose to be 16+ on Monday! woohoo!!! :0)
