*A Fun Night*

Despite there only being 3 of us last night, the CalGals had a good time... or at least I did and I'm assuming that Tracy and Merlie did too.

Sadly Allison had childcare issues, Dianne had to work and Shannon had a sick kiddo and a husband with a delayed flight home from a business trip.

It was kind of nice, I must admit, to not have to bring down chairs or move any furniture... my stamp space can fit four comfortably, but six is a little tight.

Not to mention that Merlie took up the  e n t i r e  long table all on her own!! LOL

Anyway, I managed to create three designs last night.... one will have to wait a bit as it's a surprise I did up on the request of a friend and I'd hate to the ruin the surprise for the people it's intended for.

I had hoped to get some carding done today but it didn't happen...  a late start, an offer to go to lunch and a trip to the mall got in the way.

I had a lot of fun creating this card earlier this week...  I was playing with the colours for the ColorQ challenge and wasn't liking it with any of the colours as the focal point... so I played around until I came up with this....
Items Used:
*Cardstock: PTI White; Stampin' Up! Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, So Saffron
*Images: Impress
*Ink: Stampin' Up! Poppy Parade
*Tools:   Big Shot; Spellbinders Nestabilities
*Embellishments: Michael's Bride flowers; Kaiser Pearls
*Challenges:   Mojo172; ColorQ#68

I love this card... and I hope you do too!

I LOVE the design of this card! A CAS card after my own heart. :) Sounds like you ladies have a fun time together. I must say I take up a lot of room as well. :)
So glad you played along with us at ColourQ this week.
