I hope you've all had a chance to watch the video of my craft room that I posted yesterday. Remember to leave a comment and to visit the rest of the blogs in the CASology Hop for your chance to win a gift voucher from Simon Says Stamp!
A few weeks ago I ordered a bunch of Spectrum Noir Tri Blend markers... I love that the light, medium and dark shades are all in one pen. I thought I'd love the bullet tip, but I've gotten so used to the brush tip on my Tombows and my Copics that I actually find it difficult to colour with the bullet tip. And while I ordered a set of like 24 pens, I find I don't quite have the colours I want. I'm not ruling them out yet, but so far my Copics are winning this race.
I talked about these markers, because I used them to colour this image. I am NOT great at colouring. I have mentioned it before. I don't have the patience to do it right. I have the knowledge as I took a Copic course at CHA (now Creativation) many years ago, but I guess I just don't "get it". I don't translate a light source very well is part of the problem. And again, I don't have the patience either.
All that being said, sometimes you just need to colour an image and it's good to have good tools on hand to do so.
