*CAS Colours & Sketches Two-fer part 1*

When the CAS Colours & Sketches colour challenge went live yesterday, I was excited to get to play, but I had appointments so I had to put off creating.  By the time I got home 5 hours later, I wasn't in a great mood but I still wanted to create.  I had an idea in my head for the colours so I went ahead and started working on it.  It took me almost two hours and I honestly wasn't thrilled with the card I created.  But my mood wasn't conducive to more creating so I walked away from my creative space.

I woke up early this morning and I wasn't able to fall back to sleep.... as I lay there in the dark trying to will myself back to sleep, another idea came to my head for the colour combination so as soon as I was up and ready for my day, I was in my craft space to put that idea in to practice.  The idea morphed just a bit, but this card came together in about 15 minutes.... and I love it!

So today, you are getting two cards for the CAS Colours & Sketches challenge....

First, the card I made yesterday that didn't thrill me... it's OK, but it wasn't quite what I wanted...

Items Used
*Cardstock:  Stampin' Up! Pear Pizzazz, Real Real Red, Shaded Spruce
*Dies:  Frantic Stamper Happy Holidays
*Embellishments:  Christmas Red Stickles; white gel pen; Nuvo Glitter Gloss

  1. The joys of creativity Nancy! I actually like the way you used the colours in 3 distinct 'blocks' - I think this works well for a CAS card. Thanks for playing along with us over at CAS Colours and Sketches this week!
