*My Favourite Hop - Christmas Movie*

I'm back with another card with the My Favourite Instagram Hop.... this week we are sharing our favourite Christmas movie!

Once again, I took a little creative license with my card.  I am one of those people who loves watching Hallmark Christmas movies.  I love that they always have a happy ending.  I like that they are simple in their storyline because it makes them perfect to watch while I am crafting.

Now, how does my card represent Hallmark Christmas movies?  Well, to start I used a shiny gold cardstock for the word die cut, emulating the gold Hallmark logo.  The sentiment refers to their always being a nod towards "Christmas magic" in these movies.  And finally, if you've ever played Hallmark Christmas Movie Bingo, then you know that an ugly Christmas sweater shows up in almost every single movie.

  1. The ugly Christmas sweater - such a modern icon of the day. Lovely to see it in such a gorgeous setting - clean, crisp and with a touch of elegant gold! Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players.

  2. So very clever of you, Nancy, working in all those links to Hallmark movies plus creating just a delightful Christmas card! Love the touch of elegance with the gold sentiment and I think the sweater with the bear is actually pretty cute. Thanks so much for playing along with our CAS challenge at The Paper Players this week!

  3. Oh my gosh! This card is as cute as can be, Nancy! As a Hallmark Christmas movie fan myself, I love the homage to the "ugly" sweater...although this sweater image is pretty cute. The gold diecut sentiment adds a touch of elegance that works perfectly. Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!
