On the 20th of each month, I play along the Patterned Paper Instagram Hop. We are a group of creative people who play with our ever growing stash of patterned paper, in hopes of using up some our stash. I am not playing along with the optional theme of Hallowe'en because I am totally over Hallowe'en at this point... so I used all patterned paper to create a Christmas card.

*Patterned Paper Instagram Hop*
*Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop*
It's time for another Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop. I had to quickly make a new card for the hop because misread the challenge prompt as "frosty" when it was actually "frosty flowers" Whoops! I looked to see if I could add a flower to the card I had made (the snowman I posted earlier today) and it was a no go.
I had a few ideas for frosty flowers, but settled on using a die I'd never pulled out before to cut some vellum pointsettias.

I am SO loving being in almost totally Christmas card mode these days. Christmas is truly my favourite reason to make cards and I love my Christmas stash oh so much! I made this card for the Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop, but then realized that the prompt was "frosty florals" not just "frosty". So there's an extra card for me to share.

*My Favorite Instagram Hop*
This week, the prompt for the My Favorite Instagram Hop is favourite shape. I couldn't chose a basic shape for myself... but my favourite shape is snowflake. I think they are absolutely beautiful both in nature and in my creativity. I don't like the cold weather that comes with snowflakes, but I sure do think they are pretty!

Happy Saturday, creative friends. It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS.
I made most of my card simply white... with a bright pop of colour to finish it off. I love the texture I created in the little 1" squares...

*CAS on Friday #320*
The current challenge at CAS on Friday is to create a clean and simple card featuring feathers. I am not a big fan of birds, but I think feathers are pretty! I cut my feather out of a brushed silver cardstock. To add a little more life to my simple design, I added some scored lines on my front panel.

*AAA Colourful #21*
Happy Day, creative friends! It's the 15th of the month and time for a new colourboard challenge at AAA Colourful! We are asking you to be inspired by the colours in the graphic to create a card this month
I chose the red, green and a dusty blue to highlight in my card today... a simple wreath of flowers and some added colourful mats

*CAS Colours & Sketches #571*
It's time for a new colour challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches... I can't wait to see what you create!
These colours scream Hallowe'en to me... but I don't love Hallowe'en so I went with something different instead... I cut the centre portion of the image with a rectangle die and matted it with the darker colour. I added it back to the centre of my card with some foam adhesive to add a little more interest

*Atlantic Hearts #651*
Today I'm playing along with the fabulous new sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenges...
For many of you, my card will be clean and simple... but it's not. The all over embossed background means my card is altered, almost entirely, which means it is not a clean and simple design. It is crisp and clean though, and that's what I was going for.

*My Favourite Instagram Hop*
This week on the My Favourite Instagram Hop, we are each playing with our favourite stencil.
I'm not sure that I have a favourite stencil, but how could I resist playing with these beautiful snowflakes! This is a Taylored Expressions Create In Quads stencil... a multi-layer stencil that you use on a full sheet of cardstock to create several different panels. What a great idea!

*CASE It Instagram Hop*
Happy Saturday, Creative friends! It's time for the CASE It Instagram Hop... each month, a group of us chooses any card we've seen on Instagram and we use it as an inspiration piece to make something of our own. Sometimes we completely copy the idea, sometimes we use it as a jumping off point.
For today, I was inspired by a card I saw by Vicki Dutcher.
This is the card I was inspired by...
I loved the embossing on the blue, the shade of blue, the pop of white... instead of using leaves, I used snowflakes... and instead of a die cut sentiment, I went with a simple stamped one instead. I also changed up the shade of blue (although I really love the colour she used!)

*Sending Sunshine Instagram Hop*
Each month, I am part of a group on Instagram that shares cards that we would send to someone as a little piece of sunshine... a card of encouragement.
This month I used a bunch of items that were on my desk to put together a relatively quick card.

*White on White Instagram Hop
This month, the theme for the White on White Instagram Hop is Halloween. I had fun with a ghost die and a little shadow of black behind him. I also added the soft waves texture on a panel behind my ghost, but in a vertical pattern instead... it felt kinda spooky that way LOL!

*My Favorite Instagram Hop*
This week for the My Favorite Instagram Hop, we are playing with our favourite fall flower. Honestly, I don't have a favourite fall flower... I am just SO happy to see any flowers still blooming in the fall! I coloured a flower from a piece of patterned paper in some fall colours and FUSSY CUT it out to share this card for you! I FUSSY CUT! My Mom would be so proud. It's 15 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

*Addicted to CAS #293*
Good morning, friends... I'm slowly transitioning in to making more and more Christmas cards... and today is one of those days! I LOVE making Christmas cards. Today I'm sharing a card for the current challenge at Addicted to CAS.
The only sweater stuff I have in my stash are these great ugly Christmas Sweaters. I bought a few sheets of this great pattern paper a few years ago and used my Brother Scan 'n Cut to cut them all out. I'm getting low on them now LOL!
