*2024 Spelbinders Advent Hop - Day 1*

 I am participating in an Instagram Hop with some other talented creators, sharing a card every day during Advent using the items found in the 2024 Spellbinders Advent Calendar.  I had to cheat and open windows early (so far I have opened 16 days) so that I could participate in this hop.  Be sure to head to my Instagram Profile so you can find this card for today and go hop along with the other creators to see what they did.

I opened day 1 and was disappointed when I discovered I was missing a die... Spellbinders very kindly sent me the missing die, but it didn't arrive in time for me to use it.  The piece I was missing was for the centre part of the round piece.  Instead of using that, I decided a little ink blending gave my main image some dimension.

Now... I didn't use this set as it was intended... it's supposed to be a hot air balloon...  but I really wanted to make a Christmas card, so I turned it all upside down and created ornaments instead!!!
