*Time Out Challenges #292*

Happy Thursday creative friends!  It's time for a fun new challenge at Time Out Challenges!



A patient at work was talking about his birthday gift to his wife last week... for her 75th birthday she wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride.  He was telling me how amazing it was.  That was in my head when I got around to making this card... hot air balloons are a form of travel!

  1. What a pretty hot air balloon card idea! I am petrified of going up in one but yours are so nice that I might consider it! My trip would consist of me shaking on the way up and then increasing ease as we descended. LOL.

  3. Such a pretty card Nancy! I love it! Those beautiful ballloons look so peaceful floating above the pretty strip of colour!! I love looking at the balloons but I couldn't do it myself! I remember watching them floating above the Brisbane River from my hospital window when my daughter was born. They can't do that anymore.

  4. I love this card, Nancy. The papers you used are so summery, and I love the way the patterns in the balloons go with the stripes in the background panel set on the diagonal. Great take on our theme!

  5. A hot air balloon ride was on my bucket list so my kids sent me for my 50th birthday - ages ago - and it was fabulous. My balloon was brighter colored but I love your pastel ones, Nancy.
