*Flashback Friday*

Ahhhh, Summer Vacation has officially begun! The kids had a half day yesterday and were out at noon. Both boys did amazingly well with school (no grade lower than an 80). I'm very proud of them!

Our July is very busy with two trips, but our August is wide open. Going to love having an entire month to just hang out.

My first trip starts on Monday night... flying with the kids to visit my Mom in Regina. We always look forward to this trip. Matthew has been counting down the days for a few days now... says he can't wait to see Nana!

Today, being Friday, means a card from my past. I sure wish I could find some from older than this. Oh well... I still have lots to share.

I want to say I used VersaMark ink on this but I don't think VersaMark was around yet. So I am guessing I used a white pigment ink or a clear embossing ink. I coloured a piece of white cardstock with crafting chalks and then stamped the image over top. I heat set the ink so that it wouldn't smudge when I took a soft cloth and buffed away the excess chalk. I then sealed it with some handy-dandy Finesse aerosol hairspray.

This card was done in my "celestial phase"... which lasted quite a while. I only have a few celestial stamps left in my collection... I'm much more a flower girl now!

I hope you all have some great plans for the Canada Day Long Weekend!
