A big thanks to Dawn for the idea for this card. I think hers all look better than this, but what the heck! I had fun. I think hers are better because her images are taller than what I used on this card.
Items Used:
*Cardstock: Stampin' Up! Whisper White
*Image: Hero Arts
*Ink: Black Palette; Stampin' Write Markers in Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery
*Embellishments: clear ultrafine glitter on top of Terrific Tape
My apologies for the quality of the photo. My SW facing window where I usually take photos in the sunshine is pretty dark in the winter because of the angle of the sun. So I'm trying an idea I read somewhere to take the photos in the washroom. The good thing, I can take photos any time. The bad news, the pictures aren't as good.
I need a light tent...
Edit: Thanks to Allison, I think this photo looks better now. I have gone and lightened all of the photos I took yesterday using Picasa. Still not as good as taking the photo in a bright sunny window, but better than it was.
Great card Nancy! Love the glittered edges... For pics, have you tried a sunlight lamp? I got mine from Costco for around $26. Just like being outside!!! But I mostly take my pics outside.
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Nancy! And I love the new watermark! :0)
ReplyDeleteHey Nancy...why not download Picasa (free photo-editing software). I find if you click the "I feel lucky" button when you import a photo, it will usually brighten things up automatically (esp. since I know how good this looks in person!).
