What a great late afternoon/evening so far for me! I've just finished my second card of the day! The first will be shared in the order in which my cards were created, but I wanted to get my Mojo Monday Sketch (Mojo75) posted today.
I wasn't honestly sure about the sketch for this week when I first saw it, but I decided to go with it and see what happened. I found some pieces of the Fairest Of Them All collection by Imaginisce and decided to play with that.
And let me tell you... I love the card that I created with this paper and the sketch. Yes, I said love!
Isn't it pretty??!!??
I used, as I said, Imaginisce patterned papers with Regal Rose and Basic Black cardstocks. The sentiment/image is from the For a Friend set by Stampin' Up. I added an Imaginisce glittered brad, some bling and a flower from Michaels to finish it off.
Now, let's talk about the punch.... the black wave layer was done with one of my new EK Success border punches that I got from Michaels. They were just put out in the last week or so and they are gorgeous! I bough three this weekend. It not only punches the wave but also all of the little dots that look (at least in this photo) like white gel pen dots. These punches work so well... so easy to punch through the cardstock... easier than the scallop border punch by Stampin' Up.
Did I tell you that I love this card??!!!!!!
That is a great card. I love it too.
