This month for the Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop, we are playing with the theme of silver and gold. I'm not one to mix my metals so I chose to play with some silver mirrored cardstock and some snowflakes.
This month, our theme for the Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop is Snazzy Snowmen. Of course I had to play! I LOVE snowmen!! I chose to play with a foiled snowflake that I had in my bin of extras as well as this adorable little snowman.
This month for the Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop, we are playing with stencils. I don't have a lot of stencils and I don't play with what I do have too often. I got this stencil from Kraftin' Kimmie about a year ago and decided to pull it out. I used some stencil paste with the stencil to create my winter themed background. Once I created the background I had no idea what to do next! I played around with a few items in my stash and ended up with this.
For the month of April, the theme for the Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop is Non-Traditional Colours. I had some extra of these stamped and die cut trees in my bin of extras. I popped the middle one up on foam adhesive to add a little more dimension to the card.
Our theme for this month for the Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop is Jolly Gingerbread. I pulled out some cute papers from my stash as well as a fun stamp that I coloured quickly with my Copics
Of course I had to play with the Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop this month... it combines two of my favourite things! First, a Christmas card, second a clean and simple design!
I started by die cutting two of these fabulous snowflakes, adding them to a panel and letting them fall off the edge of the panel. I trimmed them off and then matted that panel in black before adding it to a white card.
How are we already more than halfway through the month of January!? I'm still struggling to type 2026 at work (in fact, last week I typed 2027 a few times!)
This is our first Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop of 2026. Our theme this month is Pattern Paper. I chose to highlight one of my favourite pattern paper packs for my card today along with a beautiful big sentiment.
The theme for December for the Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop is FREE STYLE... so no theme at all!
I used some of the snowflakes I had foiled a few wees ago with a simple die cut sentiment to make my card that I'm sharing with you today.
We are playing with die cutting for the Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop this month. I bought this mittens die when I was in Ontario visiting my sister and I took my final trip to Stamp Art to shop. This die was one of the ones that was used in their classroom and I got it for $5. How can you pass up a $5 mittens die??
I cut the mittens out of white and then layered coloured cardstock behind the mittens to create these cute and fun little mittens.

It's time for another Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop. I had to quickly make a new card for the hop because misread the challenge prompt as "frosty" when it was actually "frosty flowers" Whoops! I looked to see if I could add a flower to the card I had made (the snowman I posted earlier today) and it was a no go.
I had a few ideas for frosty flowers, but settled on using a die I'd never pulled out before to cut some vellum pointsettias.
The theme for September for the Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop is Shimmer and Shine... so I played with a beautiful snowflake die and some glitter paper. Super clean and simple!
This month for the Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop, our theme is Ornament Overload! I was digging through my stash of Christmas supplies and came across this die that my sister gave me a few years ago. I had an idea to cut it out twice and then use my craft knife to cut out a portion of it to have two different colours in the die cut.
I would NEVER do this for more than one card LOL! It took too much time (and a little swearing) to make multiples of this one...
It's time for another Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop... this month, we are all playing with non-traditional colours. My card is made from papers from a paper pad...no stamps or dies at all. Just papers!
This month for the Crushing Christmas Instagram Hop, we are playing with wreaths. I kept my card super clean and simple. I created my wreath with two two circle dies and some white glitter paper. I added some Christmas greenery to it as well...
I joined a new monthly Instagram Hop where we make Christmas cards each month... this month our theme was Reindeer!
I chose to use both a reindeer patterned paper and a gorgeous gold die cut reindeer for my creation...
