Welcome to another challenge with CASology!! For the next two weeks, we want to see your take on the Zodiac cue. I will admit, I am not in love with my card for this challenge. I had a super hard time coming up with an idea.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Stamplorations and our Guest Designer is Ma-Mi! I hope you'll go have a look at her creations!
Be sure to link up your card on the CASology blog for your chance to become a Guest Designer in an upcoming callenge!

*You Got This*
Happy Sunday all... I hope you've all had a good weekend!
This would be a great card to throw together if you were in a hurry and needed a card... I think the only thing that took time was the ink blending, and that's just because I like to layer the colour slowly to avoid ugly spots.
Items Used:
*Cardstock: Neenah Solar White 110lb; Stampin' Up! Lavender Lace
*Images: Hero Arts To Seize Or Not To Seize
*Ink: Catherine Pooler Sweet Sixteen; Versafine Clair Nocturne
*Dies: A Jillian Vance Designs Open Daisy
*Tools: Gemini Jr; Perfect Layers; Life Changing Blender Brushes
*Etc: Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust

*CASology #354*
Welcome to another challenge on the CASology Blog! This challenge is to use FOG as your inspiration. A big thank you to our sponsor for this challenge... STAMPlorations!
I don't think I've ever made a Halloween card before.... and here I have made two in the last week LOL! I had a tough time with this cue, and while I'm not thrilled with my creation, I think it turned out OK.
I started this card by taking a piece of black cardstock and lightly blending white pigment ink along the sides to create my "fog". I left the very middle without ink. I then mixed some Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust with water and picked it up with a paint brush and flicked it on the card to create a more eerie effect.
I stamped the ghost from the Essentials by Ellen Got Candy stamp set on white cardstock with Nocturne VersaFine Clair ink and cut it out with the matching die. I also cut out the ghost shape from the black cardstock. I attached black panel to the front of the white card with foam tape and then glued the ghost to the front of the white card ... the ghost is inset and a layer lower than the black cardstock.
To finish off the card I stamped the word "boo" in the bottom corner of the black panel with the Nocturne ink.
Items Used:
*Cardstock: white from my stash; Stampin' Up! Basic Black
*Images: Essentials by Ellen Got Candy
*Ink: Stampin' Up! Whisper White craft ink; Versafine Clair Nocturne
*Dies: Essentials by Ellen Got Candy
*Tools: Big Shot;
*Embellishments: Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust
*Etc: foam tape
Please head over to the CASology blog to see how the rest of the design team interpreted the FOG cue. Also be sure to link your foggy creation for your chance to be a guest designed on a future challenge!

*CASology #352*
Welcome to another challenge with the CASology Team! For the next two weeks, we are looking for your cards using your favourite dragonfly images and dies! Please share your creations with us at the CASology Blog for your chance to become a guest designer for an upcoming challenge!
I love dragonflies... I think they are so very beautiful... and it certainly doesn't hurt that they eat mosquitoes!!!
I started with an alcohol ink background on the Silver Sparkle Alcohol Ink Paper. Once it was dry, I cut out this beautiful dragonfly from Stampin' Up! I stamped the sentiment on the bottom right side of the piece and then flicked Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust mixed with water across the front of the white panel. I let it try and then used my Perfect Layers Tool to create a 1/16 black mat before putting it on to a white card. I then added the dragonfly die cut, adhering only the main part of the body and curving up the tail and wings to create a little dimension
Items Used:
*Cardstock: Stampin' Up! Basic Black; Neenah Solar White; Alcohol Ink Silver Sparkle
*Images: Stampin' Up Lovely Friends
*Dies: Stampin' Up Detailed Dragonfly Thinlets
*Ink: Alcohol Pearls in Tranquil and Intrigue; VersaFine Clair Nocturne
*Tools: Big Shot, Perfect Layers Tool
*Etc: Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust
