I almost didn't participate in the Build Your Stash for Everyday Occasions Instagram Hop this month... the theme is "baby" and I don't have a lot of variety in my stash for baby cards (nor a reason to be sending them at this point in my life)... I was digging through my stash and changed my mind when I cam across this sentiment stamp set that I don't think I've ever inked up before... I usually try to make at least two cards for this hop, but this month you get only one.

*My Favorite Instagram Hop*
This week, my crafty friends and I are playing with our favourite baby card for the My Favorite Instagram Hop. I don't have a lot of baby themed stuff, but I do have this wonderful die of a cute little onesie... I paired it with some pretty pattern paper and a big star to create a sweet card for a new baby.

*Build Your Stash Instagram Hop*
This month, our theme for the Build Your Stash Instagram Hop is baby cards... I actually needed a baby card recently so it was good to make a couple for my stash.
For my first card, I used some more pastel rainbow colours to cut some letters... I love how it turned out!

*Time Out Challenges #279*
Happy New Year, my creative friends! I hope that the holiday season treated all of you well and that you are all fresh and ready for whatever the New Year brings. I spent a little time away from my creative space in the last 10 days or so, enjoying some time without deadlines. But I am back today with my first design team card for 2025.
Time Out Challenges has a "Beginnings" themed challenge as our first challenge of 2025. You can interpret this theme in any way you want...
I have been busy working in a crochet blanket for a little guy that showed up about 6 weeks early. I finished in the last days before Christmas and needed a card to give with the gift. A new baby is a pretty epic "beginning". The little guy was in the NICU for several weeks, but got to go home with his Mom and Dad on December 30th... a great way for them to both finish off 2024 and to start 2025.
As this was the first card I was making after a little break from creating, it was a tough go. I tried a few different things before settling on this design...

*Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #603*
There's a fun new slimline sketch at Atlantic Hearts that starts today. I always find that the sketches are nearly as beautiful as the creations made using the sketch!
You all know that I prefer a mini slimline size, so of course that's what I went with. I decided to play with shdes of blue, silver and white to create a fun Christmas card following the sketch.

*Create It 3-Ways Instagram Hop -- Congratulations*
Today is the Create3 It 3-Ways Instagram Hop... each month, a group of us get together to create three cards using a common theme. Those three cards we create have to have at least one similar element. For example, the same patterned paper, the same stamp, the same colour combination, the same technique. We want to showcase ways to stretch your supplies.
I took the easy way out with my cards today as I will admit my mojo was nowhere to be found to be more creative than this. I took the same package of patterned paper, the same stamp and the same dies and created three new baby cards... one for a boy, one for a girl and one more gender neutral.

*New Baby Card*
I was asked to make a new baby card for someone who didn't know the gender of the baby being born... I purchased some new dies while I was in Ontario visiting my sister in July and decided to play with them.
