*Create It 3-Ways Instagram Hop -- Congratulations*

 Today is the Create3 It 3-Ways Instagram Hop... each month, a group of us get together to create three cards using a common theme.  Those three cards we create have to have at least one similar element.  For example, the same patterned paper, the same stamp, the same colour combination, the same technique.  We want to showcase ways to stretch your supplies.

I took the easy way out with my cards today as I will admit my mojo was nowhere to be found to be more creative than this.  I took the same package of patterned paper, the same stamp and the same dies and created three new baby cards... one for a boy, one for a girl and one more gender neutral.

I will admit that my card today looks an awful lot like my beach themed card from a few days ago... hopefully you can see the details in the photo.  I used a rolling wave stitched die to create my layers, overlapping them a bit on each.

I love this paper pack from Stampin' Up!  There are so many wonderful patterns.  I was trying to get an idea for this card and turned over a scrap of this paper and saw the shades of blues and greens and instantly though "waves".  I ripped the paper by pulling the part I'm not using towards me to create the white edges along my waves (the white caps).  I added a ripped piece of kraft cardstock for my beach.

I think I created a clean and simple (and pretty) encouragement card.  Not bad for a theme I don't do a lot of!

It's a circles themed challenge at CAS on Friday... I had a lot of ideas float through my head for this challenge but I decided to play with some patterned paper that I just got.  Sometimes it's tough to make the first cut in a beautiful patterned paper, so I was excited to cut in to this paper within 24 hours of getting it!  That's got to be a record for me!
