*Mini Slimline Instagram Hop*

It's time to share my card for the Mini Slimline Instagram Hop.  We have no themes or rules, other than our cards must be a mini slimline... I just LOVE playing with this size!

I went super simple with just stamping and colouring...

*Addcited to CAS #276*

Happy Saturday, friends!  It's time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS!

I am thankful for a good variety of sentiment stamps as it makes it easy for me to be on these design teams.  I don't buy a lot of stamps or dies for a lot of "occasions" or "reasons" so I like that I can add a sentiment to items in my stash that make me happy.  This is a great example of that.  I combined a beautiful floral border with a sweet message of friendship.

*The Most Wonderful Day*

I got these super pretty floral images a few months ago and haven't done much with them.  Have you ever bought a stamp set that you thought was so beautiful and then you see it in your stash and it almost intimidates you?  That was me with this stamp set.

*Enjoy Your Special Day*

My days off keep getting away from me... I sit at my craft table but I find other things to do instead of creating.  It doesn't help that often on my days off I am running to appointments for myself or for my one son so there isn't any real time to create.  I seem to do better on those days that I don't have other things today.  I feel pressure to create sometimes which isn't helpful either.

I did have a few good creative days in the last bit... and this was one of the non-design team cards that I created with some new stamps I bought...

I really prefer my Versafine Clair ink pad to all of my other blank inks...  it's so crisp and clean and the details are perfect.  Of course, that ink doesn't work if I want to use my Copics to colour.  Instead of being less pleased with using Memento or Gina K Amalgam when I'm going to colour, I've started embossing my Versafine Clair in clear embossing powder.  It keeps the crispness of the ink I love.

*Colourful Birthday Wishes*

Happy Sunday, creative friends!  I found a little creativity in my craft space yesterday and made a card for the current challenges at Freshly Made Sketches and Color Throwdown.  I placed this floral swag image in my Misti and stamped a portion of it on one corner of my card front and then flipped the cardstock around to stamp on the opposite corner as well.  I really love my Versafine Clair ink for stamping but it doesn't pair well with Copics, so lately I've been embossing my stamped image in clear so that I can use Copics.
