I'm here today with my design team card for this weeks sketch at Atlantic Hearts!
I had an idea pop in to my head almost immediately for this sketch, but then I saw that one of my fellow DT members did something really close to that same idea so I wanted to pivot... I don't love what I did as it's out of my wheelhouse...

Geeta wanted a colourful card and I had a few new things in my stash that I wanted to play with. I had this excess piece from a card a few days ago using these fun pattern papers on black cardstock. I paired it with this fun new die I have in my stash.
Today, I'm participating in a birthday hop for my Instgram friend Dalis... please go give her some birthday love!!

This week on the This or That Instagram Hop, we had to choose between sweet and sour. I chose to make a sweet card using this fun popsicle paper and a sweet sentiment...

I am really wanting to colour more... to allow myself the time to play with the markers. I was watching a Cathy Zielske video the other day and she made me realize that I don't need to be an artist to colour... I'm a crafter and my colouring doesn't need to be perfect. So instead of worrying about shading and blending really well, I've decided to just have fun!
To that end, I pulled out this cute stamp of a girl with her umbrella and had some fun! I stamped her with Memento ink (ink my Misti), coloured her and then stamped over her again with my favourite Versafine Clair as I find it gives a much more crisp outline. I paired her with a little rainbow striped pattern paper.

Once again I wanted to cut in to some of that new paper I bought from Unity... and I chose to do a mini slimline card using an old sketch from Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers.
Good morning friends... it's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS...
I tossed around a lot of ideas but then got a delivery of some brand new patterned papers and I really wanted to cut in to them! I chose five different patterns and cut some strips to create this fun patterned card.
Welp... after a personal accomplishment of remembering to use the moodboard to go along with the theme of last months Birthday Bash Instagram Hop, I completely forgot about the moodboard this month. Our theme is Punny or Adult Humour... I was going to go with some inappropriate stamps I have but then remembered this Pissy Kitty set and decided to play with it instead.
I struggle with this Instagram Hop... my sense of humour is usually kinda dark and sweary instead of light and fun. I hope that this brings and giggle...
This month, the challenge for the White on White Instagram Hop was to be funny... my sense of humour usually includes swear words, so that's where I went with this. I know exactly which friend will get this card LOL!

I pulled out my brand new Unity Stamps to create my card for today. I did a little fun stencilling first and then stamped my images on top of it. Super simple!
I am late sharing my card for the This or That Instagram Hop this week.... this week our choices were "sweet or snarky".... I just got some stamps from Unity Stamps so I wanted to play with "snarky".
Honestly I don't use images like this very often, so I found this card difficult... It's not really my style in the end and I'm not honestly sure how much I like it.
But I do hope it makes you smile!
