It took a while but I finally found some time (and mojo) to create a video that explains how I do the flicking technique for colouring. I was honestly just going to show you how I do the technique in the video but I ended up making a card as well!

I pulled out my bin of extras to create the card I'm sharing with you today. The oval, the butterfly and the strips of cardstock were all in that bin of extra items I'd cut but not used. I am playing along with the challenge over at Color Hues.

Welp, the response to my last video has been positive... thanks everyone! No to figure out if I can continue doing them! I've had a few creative suggestions from a friend that I will try to bring in to upcoming videos, but for now, you get the very beginner videos.
I'm playing along with the vertical sketch challenge at Paper Craft Crew... The video is below.
OK creative friends... I'm going to ask you to be kind! I have been encouraged by a few people to do crafty videos and I decided to take the leap today. I don't have the time right now to put in to editing videos so I thought I'd start filming "create along with me" type videos where I make a card more or less in real time (I have planned some things out before I started filming but I filmed in real time with commentary as I went). After my first video I thought that maybe I'd try filming myself following some card making challenges.
Now I don't know how successful I will be at continuing this... I am off work this week and Bruce is in Copenhagen for work so my craft room is all mine so it was easy to film. I don't know what that will look like when Bruce is home as I feel pretty self conscious talking to myself.
So today is my first video in a very long time... and it shows you how I made this card... (scroll down to see the video)
